Brent Staker took to the field for the seniors side with Simon Black coaching from the bench as Luke Hodge and Adrian Fletcher joined the pair for the club's sportman's night, which was originally locked in for last season.
Coach Greg Latham, who rubbed shoulders with the AFL quartet, spoke highly of the experience and the Lions' enthusiasm.

"From the players' point of view, the Brisbane Lions contingent couldn't have been more helpful and supportive throughout the course of the day and it's a credit to them, each and every one of them, in terms of how they carried themselves," he said.
"Their willingness to communicate with not only the playing group but the community overall [was outstanding]."
Despite his side tasting defeat to East Coast, Latham described coaching alongside Brownlow and Norm Smith Medallist Black as "invaluable".
"The way in which he interacted with, not only the playing group but the coaches as well, was very, very beneficial and I'll certainly take a number of things away from it," Latham said.
"Someone with that level of experience and willingness to have input is always going to be beneficial for us as a football club and certainly for me individually."
The North-East community was treated to the sportman's night as master of ceremonies Shaun Mugavin individually interviewed the quartet, speaking in depth about their careers before, during and after football.
Latham predicted a similar event could become a yearly fixture on the Seagulls' calendar due to its success, with the day also marking milestone games for Will Brown (150) and Sam McDougall (100).
Praise for the blockbuster Saturday wasn't one-sided, with Staker, Black, Mugavin and celebrity chef Dan Mulheron, who supplied food for the event, posting to their social media platforms.
"I tell you what I have cooked sausages in a thousand different locations over the years but this has to take the cake," Mulheron posted with the ground behind him.
