The 25-year-old lit up the court against the Hobart Chargers at Kingborough, finishing with 42 points and 22 rebounds.
Froling said she was pleased with her performance.
"I felt great that game - I've done tonnes of work in during the off-season," she said.
"It's really rare for me to get an off-season, usually I'm running from season [NBL1] to season [WNBL] so I've been working on a lot of things.
"My role on this team is to score on rebounds and that's what I did."

The amazing debut came during a 91-61 victory - Froling said it was calming to have a resounding effort from the relatively new squad to start the season.
"I think we were really happy with how we played, for a first game especially," she said.
"We've done so much prep and there were a lot of nerves going in so it was nice to play pretty well as a team.
"We definitely have things we can work on, which is amazing - that we have things to work on after a really great starting point for us.
"The first game's always the hardest when you have people you haven't played before and no one's played at that level for a year or so so there were nerves for sure."
The Canberra Capital was named captain before the season; Froling said she was eager to adopt the mentor mantle as her career matures.
"Coming into to a new team - it's always different but it's great that everyone's taken me on board and embraced me," she said.
"I'm really enjoying that role and I am one of the older ones on the team now so I'm just trying to help out some of those young girls and be a leader really."
