Despite registering 15 less shots on goal than their opposition, the ladder-leaders stayed in the contest until late in the last as Rocherlea struggled to make the most of their opportunities.
The Tigers, donning their Indigenous strip in conjunction with the AFL's Sir Doug Nicholls round, held a slender nine-point lead at quarter time courtesy of majors to Liam Kiely and Adam Etchell as their pressure restricted Deloraine's clean use.
A magnificent three-disposal link from Tyler Kelly helped register the Roos' solitary first-quarter major as James Carpenter hit up coach Lochy Dornauf in the goal square.
From there, the scoring quickened in a six-goal second term as Deloraine made the most of their opportunities, with Dornauf registering his second and third alongside teammates Nathan Green and Brayden Butler to take a three-point half-time lead.

Shaun McCrossen would add to that straight after the main break but from there, Rocherlea made the game theirs, holding a majority of play in their forward 50 but struggling to make a devastating impact on the scoreboard as Nick Hammersley and Jordan Cousens goaled for a seven-point lead.
The Tigers' accuracy went on a downward spiral in the last, registering seven behinds before captain Brayden Claridge converted his second chance at breaking the run, kicking his second goal to put his side up by 20 points.
Butler found Addison Cosslett to put some bounce in the Kangaroos' step, which was quickly shrunk by some Etchell brilliance before Butler put one through the big sticks for himself.
But it would be the Tigers' first goal-scorer Kiely who would seal the deal with an outside-50 bomb and officially end Deloraine's streak.
Etchell was named the Tigers' best as former St Pats midfielder Jacob Murphy was electric through the middle and Cousens' trademark classy left foot didn't go unnoticed.
Kelly was comfortably Deloraine's strongest, collecting plenty of football across half-back and into the midfield, linking up with key defensive pillar Matt Mitchell as captain Jarrod Scott performed well.
OLD SCOTCH v BRACKNELL
Alec Fotheringham's 150th game will certainly be one to remember as Old Scotch took out premier division side Bracknell in a thrilling 9.11 (65) to 9.10 (64) victory.
Qualifying for life membership at the club founded by his grandfather, the 31-year-old led the side to their second premier-league victory this season and positions the Thistles just outside the top four.
Connor Dixon chalked up his 17th, 18th and 19th majors for the season to lead the way in front of the sticks as Fotheringham's co-captain Jonty Swallow was named Scotch's best.
Eric Izbicki, Bayley Neil, Corry Goodluck and Cal Mulder scored multiple majors in defeat with Jack Dyer the Redlegs' strongest as their season continues to struggle.
BRIDGENORTH v OLD LAUNCESTONIANS
Rohan Sergeant added eight majors to bring his tally to 48 for the season as Bridgenorth rolled Old Launcestonians 16.9 (105) to 7.8 (50).
He was joined by eight other scorers including Chris Walker in his 300th senior club game as young trio Sol Scott, Zach Walker and Cayb Woods were named Parrots' best.
Campbell Fraser led the way for the Blues, who were missing some experienced personnel, scoring three goals and named best-on ahead of Will Archer and Danny Hall.

SCOTTSDALE v MEANDER VALLEY
Mitchell Bennett kicked five as Scottsdale overcame Meander Valley 17.11 (113) to 5.2 (32).
He was helped out by Dan Berry's three as the Magpies piled on the majors, including six in the second, to defeat 2013 coach Damien Rhind's Suns in classy fashion.
Richie Heazlewood, Nathan Applebee and Sam Bouwman were the Suns' best in defeat while Josh Gray, Bennett and James Conroy flew the Magpies flag.
