That's a part of the reason why Bridgenorth's Rohan Sergeant's effort of 16 majors on Saturday was so impressive.
Starring in the Parrots' 89-point victory over University of Tasmania, the 24-year-old third-year plumbing apprentice downplayed his efforts, despite kicking 11 of his goals from one end.
"It's probably something that won't happen again but we will take it," he said.
"Up until Saturday, I'd only ever kicked eight in a game, so it was a pretty big jump.

"I think after a while, things died down a bit after about 10. The boys didn't really know what to say after that."
Affectionately known by the nickname Tiger, given to him by schoolmates at Riverside High School, Sergeant joined the Parrots in 2015 after forging a strong junior career at Launceston, which resulted in the occasional senior game.
"I had a few mates at Bridgenorth, ended up going to a few of their functions and signed for them about half way through the year in 2015 after a few beers at the ball.
"Obviously, the club is a very family-friendly environment, everyone's supportive up there and gets around you and after that first half a season I played there, I've never thought about leaving there ever since."
The 16-goal haul has propelled Sergeant to the top of the NTFA Shield goalkicking tally after kicking five in round one, sitting 13 goals clear of Rocherlea's Andrew Cox-Goodyer.
