Launceston has picked up former Meander Valley Suns president and women's coach Alex Wadley, who helped transform 2018's winless Prospect side into a Suns outfit which narrowly missed NTFAW finals last season.
"He brings a lot of enthusiasm to the group, a lot of knowledge and he's very analytical which is great, he's been a really good addition to the group," Launceston coach Angela Dickson said.
"He will have a big impact on us as the season goes forward - on our drive and pushing us and challenging us in the way we think about the game and what we're doing as players.
"His wife just had a baby last week so he's been away for a week, but I'm really excited to see what impact he'll have on the group throughout the year."

At North Launceston, head coach Dean Smith has added Steven Crooks to a coaching panel already featuring captain Jodie Clifford and Claudia Matteo.
"He's been the under-18 and development league coach during his time at North and he's also run the rotations for the seniors the last year or two," Smith said.
"So he's going to be handy with our young girls, especially with getting them used to rotations and midfield set-ups. He's been brilliant with the girls with that so he's a massive pick-up for us."
The two sides will meet in the TSLW's opening round on July 18.
