The 2020 TSLW roster was released on Friday with clubs welcoming a dramatic shift away from the league's traditional Sunday gamedays.
Every match of the 12-round home and away season will be played on a Saturday with only the grand final - scheduled between the men's senior and development league deciders on October 18 - to be played on a Sunday.
The ordering of fixtures for home and away matches remain at clubs' discretion.
Dickson said while the 9.30am timeslot her team has been allotted for three of its four home fixtures was "not ideal", the move towards Saturday fixtures was a positive one.
"I think it's a step in the right direction for women's TSL footy - I think the competition deserves a spot in the Saturday fixture with the men's TSL," the former Clarence midfielder said.
"We're over the moon to play Saturday games and hopefully in years to come it'll just be expected that women's footy will be played on a Saturday in line with the men's competition.
"It'd be great to see us playing the majority of the games before the senior men or directly after, but we'll take every year as it comes.
"We're ecstatic to have any form of season and to be playing alongside the men's team as well is exciting for us."

Clubs have been pushing to play TSLW matches on Saturdays for the last few years, but have been met with a number of obstacles including umpiring requirements.
Dickson said this year's campaign would provide a good platform for the league to become a regular Saturday fixture.
"[Playing on a Saturday] eases up the stress on volunteers and travel costs and running costs as a club - you only have to find people for the canteen and the bar one day on the weekend rather than two," she said.
"It's making the most of the crowds of well and with the growing number of AFLW players that are playing in the TSL, it's a great opportunity for people to see the standard of football that the TSL women's teams are playing now.
"To have the opportunity to play on a Saturday will hopefully open the eyes of some of the doubters and people that don't think that women's footy has a spot with the men's.
"I think this is a fantastic opportunity for women's footy in general and it's hopefully a step in the right direction with AFL Tasmania and I'm hoping it's something that stays for years to come."
