MORE EXPERIENCE
A year under the belt and an injection of experienced heads should do wonders for North Launceston in 2020.
Taking a teen-filled list into their inaugural season, the Northern Bombers managed six wins with captain Jodie Clifford, Maggie Cuthbertson and Sophie Townsend leading the way.
The young side should fare even better with the additions of NWFL gun Sheehan and Kettle, Slater and Perkins, who played off in last year's NTFAW grand final.

"We're probably a bit more mature, but the average age hasn't gone through the roof," Smith said.
"We call an experienced player now a 19, 20-year-old whereas last year there was a lot of 16 and 17-year-olds.
"Emily Perkins has coached and captained South, she's captained rep sides but she's never played TSL so she's dying to have a go at it - it's the one thing that she hadn't done in her career.
"She's on the Jodie end of experience as a genuine leader but most of the girls like Kayla Sheehan, Raigan - they're only 19, 20 years old but they've got that extra couple of years of footy experience."
EASING THE LOAD
The Bombers' increased depth should aid the development of their youth.
This year's leadership group has stretched to eight (Cuthbertson, Perkins, Sheehan, Kettle, Townsend, Hayley Breward, Emily McKinnell and Caitlin Hooper), evening out the imbalance between experienced and inexperienced players.

"Last year there were so many young girls outweighing the experienced girls," Smith said.
"A lot of girls had to play in positions that they shouldn't have had to play in yet, so they've had to step up earlier than what we would have liked.
"This year they'll be able to settle into something a bit more suitable to their development, so rather than having to hold down a key position in the team as a 17-year-old, they can slip back in and be mentored by these other players."
RUCK BACK-UP
The second-year side will have plenty of ruck options this season with Devils young gun Kara Hennessy free for selection and Meg Wilkinson arriving from Kingborough.
Smith said both would offer a handy chop-out for 2018 Evandale premiership tall Townsend.
"Sophie will still be our number one ruck and Meg's someone that can help her out," Smith said.
"We've still got Kara Hennessy in the Devils program so she'll continue to develop and her and Meg will probably do that forward-bench rotation so Sophie's always got someone to swap with.
"Kara's progressing - she can play as a forward or a back but for her Devils they're keen to continue her on with her rucking, so we'll continue to develop her on that side of it."
