Future Noise is a concert presented by youth music organisation Rock Challenge, aimed at showcasing emerging artists.
Rock Challenge coordinator Brad Harbeck said the concert is an expansion of their 2019 program.
"Local original acts are super important to the cultural value of Launceston & Tasmania," he said.
"The need for the continued development of younger & emerging acts is therefore crucial to our arts scene."
Harbeck said as many of the bands play at venues with an 18 year plus age limit, younger people don't get the chance to see them.
"This is an opportunity for them to see these bands," Mr Harbeck said.
"We'd hope people realise how rare these opportunities are & get behind it."
One of bands playing on the night is indie punk group Full Collapse.

Full Collapse member Cameron Illingworth said he was super pumped for the night.
"It's pretty rare for big all ages gigs like this to happen and it's going to be a great way for a lot of friends and people who haven't seen us because they are underage to come watch us play," Cameron said.
Cameron said concerts such as Future Noise are super important for exposure of young and developing bands.
"It gives more people our age the opportunity to come and watch us and hear our music," Cameron said.
"It's not everyday you get an all ages gig with this many young bands playing so it's an awesome opportunity for us."
Other bands playing on the night are Next Please, Animals with Big Heads, Disparent, Feels, Baby Dave and Polar Bare.
