With some of the players having faced the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football League earlier this month, the Northern sides emerged victorious in one of the intrastate clashes.
That win came in the under-14 boys, comfortably coming away 12.5 (77) to 2.3 (15) victors.
Ryder Bugg was named the NTJFA's best, with the opposition's sole goal-kicker Lucas Heazlewood their strongest.
The NWFL kicked away in the day's second game, defeating the NTJFA under-16 side 14.13 (97) to 7.6 (48) as Toby Callow was named best afield for the North.
Unfortunately for the visiting side to East Devonport's Girdlestone Park complex, the North went down 9.15 (69) to 1.2 (8) in the under-17 girls' game.
Chelsea Bezemer was the girls' best player, with the North to host rematches between the regions in May.
