The Devil's Corner Lost Shipment Race will see three lucky teams spend nine days travelling around the four corners of Tasmania, starting in the Huon Valley in the south before venturing onto Smithton in the north-west, Bridport in the north-east and finishing off at the newly reinvigorated Devil's Corner cellar door, located along the popular Great Eastern Drive.
The 'Amazing Race' style event will give race-goers the unique opportunity to explore Tasmania and its origins like never before, embracing the wild in a series of once-in-a-lifetime activities at each stop.
The Huon Valley portion of the event will see competitors take in the picturesque sights of the Huon Valley from the comfort of their own private sailing tour, cruising along the Huon River with tasty local treats and wine.
They will then swap the water for the treetops as they journey across the Tahune Forest Airwalk - a cantilevered bridge suspended 40 metres above the Huon River - before heading underground to discover the mysterious labyrinth of Hasting Caves and swim in the thermal pools.
Travelling to Smithton via Cradle Mountain competitors will get the chance to 'Dine with the Devil' at Devils@Cradle - a unique sanctuary and conservation facility for the threatened Tasmanian Devil. It will allow them to get up close and personal with these extraordinary animals before enjoying dinner reservations at nearby Cradle Mountain Lodge.
They will then experience a full-day, four-wheel drive adventure that will take the, to the remote 'Edge of The World' region and Tarkine National Park, deep in the north-west coast of Tasmania - home to the second largest expanse of cool temperate rain forest in the world.
Arriving in Bridport participants will take the plunge at the original and Australia's only wood-fired Floating Sauna at Lake Derby. Race-goers can reconnect with nature while enjoying the traditional Finnish wood-fired sauna and cold plunge directly off a pontoon into the fresh waters of Lake Derby before racing to the last stop.
Lastly arriving at Devil's Corner, a rugged corner of east coast Tasmania is the race's final destination where hazard meets haven and the Devil's Corner vineyards meet the sea. Uniquely positioned on the edge of the coast, Devil's Corner's recently expanded, award-winning cellar door site is both extraordinary and wild in equal measure.
At Devil's Corner, race-goers can climb the tower and take in the view across Moulting Lagoon to The Hazards mountain range and Freycinet National Park before indulging in a premium and elevated wine tasting experience in the Devil's Den.
