More than 12 months since deferring the Invermay Traffic Master Plan, the City of Launceston council will discuss the draft plan at its first November meeting.
Since the deferral, the council's general manager Michael Stretton said work on all the projects contained in the study has continued.
He said some are close to the design phase.
"With projects in the study split between the Department of State Growth and the City of Launceston, timing the roll-out of these projects is paramount so as not to cause any unnecessary delays for motorists during construction," he said.
"The council acknowledges that it has taken longer than we would have liked, however, the issues in this precinct are complex and we needed time to work through them to ensure we had sound, evidence-based solutions in place."
The council's first meeting in November will be held on the 14th at 1pm at the Town Hall.
