Liberal Lyons MP John Tucker said the project was part of the response to increased visitor numbers to the park, and would be designed to better cater to the needs of current and future visitors.
"During the initial and final stages of construction the Wineglass Bay Lower Car Park and the Hazards Beach Track and Isthmus Track will be affected by short term closures," Mr Tucker said.
"Works are planned to commence as soon as possible after the completion of the approvals and tender process and be completed by mid-June 2019."
The state government committed funding for the project under the Tourism Infrastructure in Parks program.
Tender documents are available at tenders.tas.gov.au, with submissions closing at 2pm on April 24.
