The Devils head into the bye with a 6-2 record after defeating Murray Bushrangers 10.8 (68) to 6.9 (45) at Highgate Recreation Reserve in Craigieburn.
He reiterated how well the group was representing the Tassie jumper.
Webberley was pleased with how they ground out two wins in trying conditions this past fortnight.
They beat Eastern Ranges by a point last weekend after losing to Oakleigh Chargers by a goal the week before.
The coach felt the Devils responded well after a patchy first half against the Bushrangers in which they let the ball out of their forward 50 too easily.
Once they brushed that up, they got on top and turned a eight-point half-time deficit into a 17-point three-quarter-time lead.
Forward and North Hobart product Will Splann was outstanding with three goals on a windy day.
Webberley said he competed hard in the air and followed up well at ground level.
The Devils' mentor also liked the work of unheralded defenders Braidy Simpson and North Launceston's Mitch Nicholas.
The coach added North Launceston product Oscar Harper had an impact on debut.
Webberley said the Devils knew the undersized ruck/forward would compete hard, jump into the opposing ruckman and do well at ground level.
Tasmania got through the clash unscathed.
Webberley said some players would re-engage with their TSL clubs or school teams during the break.
The Devils play Dandenong Stingrays at North Hobart Oval on June 18.
The Devils were fourth heading into the round and are in the finals mix.
