This brings the state's total number of active cases to 6261, with 54 deaths since 2020.
Premier Jeremy Rockliff said a man in his 70s and a woman in her 50s died at North West Regional Hospital, and a man in his late 40s died at the Launceston General Hospital.
There were 46 Tasmanians in hospital, 21 of whom were treated specifically for COVID symptoms, and two receiving care in the ICU.
As of 12.01am Monday morning, close contacts are no longer required to quarantine for seven days, but must follow other public health measures.
They are permitted to leave home if they do not have symptoms and test negative when notified as being a close contact.
For the following seven days they must test daily if leaving home, wear a face mask in all indoor settings outside of their home, avoid high-risk settings, and inform their workplaces.
Close contacts can register for free Rapid Antigen Tests from state-run distribution centres by completing a form on the Tasmania coronavirus website.
Those unable to access the centres may be eligible to have RATs delivered to their home instead.
