The Liberals on Monday announced it would match Labor's commitment for the new centre which is set to include indoor and outdoor polls and a 24-hour gym.
The project will be led by the George Town Council.

Bass Liberal MHR Bridget Archer said the centre would host low-cost consulting rooms for allied health and rehabilitation services as well.
"It will enable NDIS participants to better utilise their funding packages in George Town, meaning vulnerable members of the community can access services in the area," she said.
Ms Archer said the redeveloped pool site would allow locals to access the new facility throughout the year.
George Town mayor Greg Kieser said the project would led to better health outcomes in the community.
"We know from the data that there is an underspend in the allied health professional area and this facility aims to solve that problem," he said.
Cr Kieser said the centre's concept would be put out for community consultation before construction started.
He said the project would cost $20 million in total.
Labor senator Helen Polley said the announcement from the Liberals followed Labor's announcement in March.
She said the party should also follow Labor's announcements on an urgent care clinic and a new Community Care Tasmania training and respite centre in Launceston and restoration of bulk-billed telehealth psychiatric consultations.
