Police said they received a call about 6.45pm advising a car had gone through a shop window on Mulgrave Street, near the corner of Howick Street.
Three police units attended the scene, along with fire and ambulance crews.
Police advised a white Mitsubishi Triton ute and a second car, a white Peugeot wagon were involved in the crash.
Neighbours and onlookers advised the white ute had lost control, hit the parked Peugeot and crashed into the Mulgrave Street Newsagency and Takeaway.
Two tow trucks were dispatched to the scene, with the white Triton taken away about 7.30 pm, with the utility sustaining significant damage to the front of the vehicle.
Police said the cause of the crash was unknown, but did not rule out speed, drugs or alcohol as contributing factors.
They confirmed no one had been injured in the crash with investigations ongoing.
