Police are currently at the scene of a crash between a car and a truck on the Bass Highway at Wiltshire.
It is the second crash between a car and a truck on the Bass Highway in a month.
In August, a car and truck were rendered immobile after they crashed on the Bass Highway near Prospect.
Data has shown that the non-separated sections of the Bass Highway are an overwhelming source of road trauma in Northern Tasmania.
Police report that one person is trapped inside the car but injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
