LSSG has been inviting the Tasmanian Down Syndrome Association to a special day at the football for the past 14 years.
After last years cancelation, LSSG president Ray Jones was thrilled to have the group back at the grounds.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"I've known some of them since they were little tackers, it's great to see them grow up and thrive," Mr Jones said.
Also enjoying the day was 18-year-old Finn Hilder.
It was late last year that Finn's mum Rachel reached out to her Facebook community in search for a bike for Finn.
In a twist of fate, a member of LSSG who saw the Facebook post had recently read an article in The Examiner about Bob's Bikes.
The restored bikes are then sold by Bob's wife, Shirley and the proceeds donated to charity.
For LSSG, purchasing Finn's bike from Bob aligned with their ethos.
"Every day you hear the bad news stories. We like to be a part of the good news stories" Mr Jones said.
