Ahead of Saturday, The Examiner interviewed each candidate throwing their hat in the ring to give you a deeper understanding of the person wanting to represent the division of Windermere before you make that important decision.
Vivienne Gale
Independent candidate
Independent candidate Vivienne Gale might not live in the Windermere electorate - but she does live about as close as you can otherwise get.
"I can see it right out of my window," Ms Gale said.
Living two streets away, less than a minute's drive, Ms Gale believes she would make the ideal candidate to serve the people she lives adjacent to.

Geoff Lyons
Labor candidate
If you're thinking that Labor candidate Geoff Lyons looks familiar, you're not wrong.
Mr Lyons was the federal member for Bass between 2010 and 2013, when he was succeeded by Liberal Andrew Nikolic.
"There are more people out there to help and I should make a contribution," Mr Lyons said on his reason for running for the seat of Windermere.

Will Smith
Independent candidate
Will Smith didn't think he would end up in politics until later in life - then he got a call from Ivan Dean.
The 28-year-old was "handpicked" by the retiring member for Windermere as the one to pass his independent torch to.
So, after some careful consideration, Mr Smith quit his day job as a Launceston police officer and hit the campaign trail.
Nick Duigan
Liberal candidate
Travelling Australia and the world hosting your own fishing TV show sounds like a dream job for many, so why would Nick Duigan trade it in for the benches of Tasmania's Legislative Council?
"It's been one of those things that I have had rolling around in the back of my mind for probably 10 years," he said.
It was only thanks to a COVID-enforced stay at home in Tasmania for the entirety of 2020 that he decided to take the next step.
Rob Soward
Independent candidate
A leader in the community for more than two decades, with experience that spans across local government, education and health, Rob Soward is no stranger to advocacy.
The current City of Launceston councillor and former deputy mayor believes that experience leaves him on the best footing to advocate for the constituents of Windermere.
He said initially he had no intentions of running for the Legislative Council seat, but was approached by several community members who encouraged him.
