"I can see it right out of my window," Ms Gale said.
Living two streets away, less than a minute's drive, Ms Gale believes she would make the ideal candidate to serve the people she lives adjacent to.
Windermere marks the third time Ms Gale has attempted to win a seat in the upper house.
In 2015, she ran for the seat of Mersey against Mike Gaffney, and ran for the seat of Rosevears in 2020.
Ms Gale takes this in her stride - running with pride and passion as an independent candidate.
KEEPING THE HOUSE INDEPENDENT
Ms Gale is a business owner, with qualifications in business administration, psychology, computing and law - admitted in 2017, completing her Master's during 2020.
She said that keeping an independent balance in the upper house was incredibly important to her.
"I feel really strongly about independence in Tasmania, Tasmania is really lucky in the fact that they do have independence in the upper house and therefore the constituents in every electorate have an opportunity to have someone in there that will look after their interest," she said.
"When you get party domination in the upper house, it's really just rubber stamping or blocking - and I don't think that's good for the constituents of the state because it slows down legislative reforms and it doesn't have someone sitting in there checking that the legislation that comes through actually suits the constituents of their electorate.
"It's really important for constituents to have someone independent in there and it's slowly being eroded over time.
"My philosophy is in this role, if I'm there, I will listen to people, I will take it all away, I will research it, I'll think about it - I will go through the legislation with their views in the forefront of my mind."

A BACKGROUND IN LAW TO BENEFIT
She sees her legal expertise as one of her strengths to bring with her into the upper house - saying it currently lacks somebody with experience understanding and interpreting legislation.
"A lot of people don't understand what the legislative council is about and what they do, but it's so important," she said.
"I know it [the law] backwards, and I could do an amazing job.
"There's no lawyer in the upper house at the moment, they used to have one and they tell me that was really useful because lawyers can see what other people can't in pieces of legislation."

PASSION FOR IMPROVING HEALTHCARE
While bulk billing is a federal government responsibility, improving bulk billing in the Northern suburbs and overall health outcomes is a passion for Ms Gale.
During her time in the community, Ms Gale has met people who have been unable to afford to take themselves and their children to see a doctor - having to seek basic advice free from pharmacists because they know they aren't sick enough for a hospital.
"I'm a mum, and I know how anxious you get when your children are sick," she said.
"They needed help but couldn't afford it - that's what people face in lower socio-economic areas of Windermere.
"It's not good enough - they are the poorest people in the community, their children have the right to see a doctor, we can't clog up the hospital, they need to have some sort of stop gap".
INCREASE IN SUPPORT FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT SURVIVORS
Ms Gale wants to see an increase in the education around what consent is, and what the consequences are to get people talking as a way to start "dealing with the problem".
"We need support for the people who have been damaged by the process, support for the education to ensure it doesn't happen, and support for police to be in a position to do something about it," she said.
"This topic is dynamite at the moment, it's been going on for such a long time and it has to stop."
- This is the first of five candidate profiles for Windermere. Tomorrow, hear from Labor candidate Geoff Lyons.
