Wild Things explores a year on the frontline with activists passionate about saving their futures from the effects of climate change.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Director Sally Ingleton said the documentary was her idea and she had been working on it for nearly four years.
"We all know the story of global warming, it's happening," she said.
"Tasmania is so fortunate it has some really beautiful landscapes, so it seems really important to protect them.
"I wanted to tell the story of who are these people."
Ingleton said often the most powerful footage in the film was shot by the activists themselves.
"The main message is every person can make a difference, and I think by seeing the film you get inspired to get involved," she said.
Potential Films will launch Wild Things at The Star Theatre on Thursday, March 4, and a Q&A will be held on Friday, March 5 with featured activists Dr Lisa Searle and Lisa Yeates.
