The NTFA's coaches will get a chance to learn from the state's best, with an upskilling session to be held on March 3.
Facilitated by AFL Tasmania, the session is available to all men's, women's and underage coaches throughout the NTFA and will be run by Mitch Thorp.

Thorp - alongside his AFL experience - has coached all around the country over the past decade, leading South Launceston in their last two seasons in the State League, including a premiership in 2013 before becoming an assistant playing coach for SANFL side Glenelg.
Returning to Tasmania after a year at the Tigers, he coached Devonport for three years and then landed at Launceston, breaking their State League premiership drought last season and overseeing the club's four-premiership year.
The course, which will run from 6-8pm at Windsor Park's Tamar Function Centre, will cover game-based training sessions, how to best use assistant coaches, planning, problem solving with players and a season briefing.
