Mat Tomson pleaded guilty to reckless driving and had a case of evading police in aggravated circumstances dismissed.
Police prosecutor Felicity Radin said that police in an unmarked vehicle first observed the white Audi with Victorian number plates in Howick St driving 130km/h in a 60km/h zone about 4.30pm on February 11 last year.

She said the vehicle served between left and right lanes up the Southern Outlet towards Prospect Vale while travelling at 160km/h in the 90km/h zone.
The car crossed a painted island when it exited from the right-hand lane into the Bass Highway connector.
Police lost sight of the vehicle after it turned off.
Ms Radin said the traffic flow was heavy at the time and that the vehicle passed several areas where caution needed to be exercised at McDonalds at South Launceston, Metro and on a merging lane on the Midland Highway.
Checks revealed Tomson bought the vehicle in November 2019.
When police attended the address they saw the vehicle parked and conducted a body-worn camera interview with Tomson.
"He made admissions saying he thought a car was following him and that he had seen red and blue lights and heard a siren," she said.
"He said he was going pretty fast and estimated 150 to 160km/h.
"He said he drove in the emergency lane and that he had driven ridiculously and dangerously and that he exited to the left from the right-hand lane."
Police seized the vehicle for six months.
Defence counsel Beri Kurdistan sought an adjournment until Monday at 2.15pm to finalise a plea in mitigation.
