Coronavirus restrictions may have stopped the wind in the sails of the Tamar Yacht Club, but it was full steam ahead for the official launch of the 2020 season on Saturday.

Commodore Greg Hall said he looked forward to what the season had to offer.
"We seem to be back to normal now," Mr Hall said.
"Our 2019 season was cut short, but if we stay like we are [with restrictions] we'll be fine. We can keep going as normal.
"We have had one mid-week race so far which was terrific. That was the first race - cold, late because it's an evening race, but the numbers have been great and we're good to go.
In other news:
"We are working towards resuming sailing in the Tamar River, in the headwaters in the city. Dinghy sailing only, but that's a big challenge and what we're hoping to achieve in the future."
Mr Hall said the sport of sailing was still as popular as ever.
"The shorter sailing is becoming more popular, the afternoon and evening sailing, rather than longer weekend and off-shore racing," he said.
"It's great fun, you're out on the water, the boat is in the elements with the wind driving it, it's a challenge - it's just a wonderful feeling.
"It's a terrific sport for self-motivation and self-reliance, confidence building and team building. It's just good for the character."
Coinciding with the launch of the season, the club also formally opened new facilities, including an all-weather boat ramp and boat sheds.
"The committee has been working towards completing this work for some years," Mr Hall said.
"It was time to sort it out. So we built the ramp and the boat shed with the funding we had, thanks to one of our members Ken Gourlay.
"The sport of sailing is evolving. We didn't have anywhere to launch trailer boats safely - we were launching them amongst the junior sailors and our rescue boats.
"We were launching from the beach alongside them, and now we can now offer storage and launching for power boats, trailer sailors and our own fleet.
"A lot safer, a lot easier, all tide, all weather, that's what it's all about. We launched a boat today so that's proof."
