Returning from the bye, the Bombers led for the entirety of the match and kept the home side goalless from the midway point of the third term.
Coach Taylor Whitford was happy with a match that his team controlled from start to finish, bar a brief lapse that saw star Demons forward Julian Dobosz slot two goals in two minutes.

"We played three and a half quarters of really good footy," Whitford said.
"There was a patch there in the second where North Hobart got a bit of momentum and we probably kicked ourselves out of it at times, but other than that it was a solid performance.
"Coming out of Launceston last Wednesday, having that break and being able to continue our momentum we've gained over the last month was probably the most pleasing thing.
"We didn't fall back on any bad habits, we continued on that upward progression."
Wingman Oliver Sanders and NTFA recruit Dan Withers were impressive through the middle and both had two goals to their name early in the second quarter, the former slotting both from just inside 50m.
Fresh from two starring performances in the development league, Will Edmunds iced the game with a steal, fake and finish on the burst while Tom Bennett continued the return to his best footy as one of nine goalkickers.
"I thought the Launceston game was probably [Tom's] best performance for the year this far and he played another really good role for us once more today which was good," Whitford said.
"His forward pressure and fundamentals were really positive, so for him just keep getting better and improving and hopefully he's playing good footy at the right end of the year for us."
The match marked the first sporting contest since March to host more than 500 spectators as North Hobart trialled a 1250-person limit to some success.
"The trial had mixed results," North Hobart president Craig Martin said in a statement.
"However the state government officials were full of praise for how well the ground was set up and how we organised things."
Flag defender Connor Young played his fourth senior game of the year after Bart McCulloch, who injured his groin in the win over Launceston, was a late withdrawal.
The Northern Bombers remain percentage only off top spot and will meet Clarence at Richmond Oval next Saturday.
