State League clubs are preparing for a one-week early mark on season 2020 after the state government brought stage three restrictions forward to June 26.

The season had been scheduled to begin on July 18, but could now begin on July 11.
The extra week should help reduce the need for flagged midweek games and fixture quirks as teams prepare for a 12-week home and away season and a two-week finals series.
"We are yet to finalise the fixture but we are looking at the potential of bringing the season forward a week," an AFL Tasmania spokesman said.
"We hope to have a fixture finalised in the next 10 days."
State League is set to be the only senior football competition in the state's North this year after the NTFA called its season off earlier this month.
