The free annual Australia Day-eve event saw families from across the north take in a carnival atmosphere on the banks of the Tamar.
Patrons were treated to a diverse program of entertainment, with shows from Tasmanian Championship Wrestling proving very popular with attendees.
Local musicians played sets of original music to an appreciative audience which continued to grow as the afternoon went on.
Some patrons checked out the amusement rides in the sideshow alley, while others stopped to taste the local cuisine that was on offer.
The night culminated with a fireworks display synchronised to music, with many patrons lining the steps on flood wall to watch the show as it lit up the night sky.
