A Launceston site that has sat unused for a number of years could soon look very different.
A development application has been lodged to demolish most of the buildings on the Crown Hotel site, except for the pub.
The demolition will include the bottle shop.

It is not publicly known what the plans are for the future of the site, how the application says the changes will make way for the future.
Public comments of the application are open until December 12.
The demolition is expected to cost $70,000.
