A St Helens man facing more than 20 abalone charges has appeared in court.

Peter Maurice Place, 49, attended the St Helens Court on Wednesday before Magistrate Sharon Cure.
He has six counts of failing to keep records, accounts, and other information, 10 counts of failing to record weight of abalone, rock lobster or giant crab and 10 counts of failing to complete fish receipt docket.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The alleged incidents happened mostly in the Flinders Island area last year.
The case was adjourned until February 5, 2020 at 9.45am.
Mr Place must enter a plea at the next appearance.
