A 24-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle crash on the Tasman Highway.

At 8.50pm last night, police attended the crash scene, about 15 kilometres west of Scottsdale.
There, they found a male driver in the vehicle. Despite attempts to revive him, police say he was pronounced dead at the scene by Ambulance Tasmania personnel.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"It appears the crash was caused by the vehicle failing to negotiate a right hand bend, causing it to strike a number of large trees," a Tasmania Police spokesperson said.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
