Teams from all three regions are fighting it out for state domination with the LBA fielding seven sides and boasting 14 Tasmanian representatives in their fleet.
Australian gold medallist Sejr Deans is among them with Veale hopeful about her teams' performances.
"We've got a really deep talent pool and are required to put in multiple teams because of our size and our strength," she said.

"Our 18s girls have one team that have five state players and four Tornadoes girls in that group. I think we will see them definitely in a final."
With Launceston's basketball future looking strong and fruitful, Veale is looking for this generation to inspire the next with local talent encouraged to come and watch.
She said the action resumes at 8am on Sunday.
