Aishah Anis, Makala Bingley, Jess Johnston and Micah Simpson will miss the next two Tornadoes games for the championships which run from April 11 to 20.
Expectations are high for the Tasmanian side in the North Queensland city as all four girls named a medal as their aspirations for the tournament.
Anis picked Victoria as Tasmania's main rival.
"Victoria have a lot of experienced players who have played in Australian teams, but we're very competitive as well so I think we'll be a competitor for them," Anis said.
"Once you've played against them in all your age groups, you become a bit more comfortable with them and once you go out there it's your team against theirs, not individuals."
Tornadoes head coach Derrick Washington said that while the Tornadoes will miss them for the next few games, this experience will be amazing for the girls.
"They have all been working hard for a long time and everyone at the Tornadoes are all excited for them," Washington said.
"They will be an important part of the Tornadoes program going forward for years to come."
After all four of the girls played court time in the Tornadoes' loss to the Southern Sabres with debutant Simpson calling it an exciting experience.
"It was pretty overwhelming after our first game with all the fans coming up afterwards but it's exciting stuff," Simpson said.
Simpson hoped that after the girls play quality opposition in Townsville, they would be able to bring that physicality back to the Tornadoes group and improve their standard.
