Launceston's travel south to KGV Oval will hold no fears for Mitch Thorp's charges.
Glenorchy had earned the right to the home final after their top-three finish.
But the Blues have strong form down in enemy territory heading into Saturday's cutthroat semi-final.
Launceston have won on both occasions at KGV in the regular season.
The Magpies only victory between the combatants this year was at Windsor Park.
More of a concern to coach Paul Kennedy is picking up the pieces after a shattering six-point loss to Lauderdale in the qualifying final. That is not the case for Launceston, straight off an empathic 55-point win over Tigers.
Fierce recent rivals North Launceston and Lauderdale go head-to-head in another finals classic on Sunday.

However, with UTAS Stadium out of commission for groundwork, the Bombers will call Windsor Park home.
The minor premiers have not lost across the river in more than five years as the ground's wide expanses suit Taylor Whitford's game plan.
Lauderdale's confidence after leading the competition for much of the year will rise after snapping a three-game losing streak.
Darren Winter's men will also be buoyed out of getting the wood over North twice this year in the battle for a direct path to the grand final.
But the TSL titleholders of four of the last five seasons will be keen to remind the Southern Bombers of the round-19 win by 45 points.
The seniors clash is set to follow the TSLW second semi-final between unbeaten Launceston and reigning premiers Glenorchy.
The Blues have won the meetings this year by 30, 53 and 50 points respectively.
