On Friday morning, Smallgrain and Sailor Food Truck set up for trade, then the council closed them down.
"After setting up for trade, it's been brought to our attention by council that we can no longer trade at Flick the Bean Invermay so our trade this morning/lunch is now cancelled," Sailor Food Truck posted on its Facebook page.
Smallgrain made a similar Facebook post.

City of Launceston council general manager Michael Stretton said the complaints had been made in recent months and had been investigated.
"The City of Launceston is a supporter of food vans, but it is important that operators be mindful of the necessity to comply with permit and planning requirements. This ensures an even playing field for everyone," he said.
"There is no reason a planning application can't be made for food vans to operate from this site, in addition to the existing coffee business, and we'd welcome such an application from the landowner."
Smallgrain and Sailor Food Truck were contacted for comment.
