A man has died while fishing at Ansons Bay in the state’s North-East.

Tasmania Police said the incident occurred about 10.45pm on Saturday, February 9.
The man was fishing with his wife when he collapsed in shallow water.
He was dragged to shore where attempts were made to resuscitate him by members of the public and emergency services. Unfortunately, he could not be revived.
A report will be prepared for the coroner, however his death was not deemed suspicious.
