Tatts officials have revealed the unregistered division one winning entry was purchased at Sorell Hub Lotto in Sorell.
The Sorell entry was not registered to a Tatts card so Tatts officials have no way of contacting the winner to confirm the life-changing news and have to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.
Sorell Hub Lotto owner Dean Silver said he was thrilled to discover his outlet had sold Tasmania’s largest ever division one winning entry.
“That is just magnificent,” he said.
“I’ve been here five and a half years and I’ve sold every other division but division one, so it’s really good we’ve finally sold one/
“It’s even better it is the biggest division one win sold in Tasmania ever.
“It’ll just be great when they check their ticket and find out they’ve won.”
