A 42-year-old man has received spinal injuries after an all terrain vehicle crash on the state’s West coast on Saturday.

The crash occurred about 12.20pm on the Sandy Cape Track at Temma.
The Turners Beach man was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital by the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
Tasmania Police and Tasmania Ambulance also attended the scene, Sergeant Adrian Mollon said.
“Due to the remoteness of the crash scene the Westpac rescue helicopter was tasked to assist in conveying the rider to the Royal Hobart Hospital,” Sergeant Mollon said.
“Investigations are ongoing and police would like to speak to any witnesses of this crash.”
