On August 7, TasWater lifted the boil water alert that was in place for both of the North East towns.
There are a further 15 towns that are waiting to reap the benefits from the Ringarooma Valley Water Scheme.
Before the start of the campaign, 24 towns throughout regional Tasmania did not have clean and clear drinking water available to them.
