“We started with 32 active members and about five classes on the timetable. We’ve got 650 now, 25 classes and heaps of activity programs in the community,” director Leah Cocker-Williams said.
“All the kids can come with their mums to the classes and they can get involved as well. When we started some of them were babies and now they’re starting to join our junior netball programs.”
The director said the facility is now used at all levels.
“Last Saturday, there were five different families and their kids running around playing basketball and squash and soccer.”
The site will soon undergo a refurbishment.
