Lesley Harrison launched a story about what it is like to permanently live in a caravan park titled Behind the Boomgate.
“It’s mainly about baby boomers who live in caravan parks and to find out what it is like. It’s all stories about people, some are married some are single,” Harrison said.
“To make it authentic, I read a lot of formal research – about 30 doctorates, theses, government reports and newspaper articles to find out what it is like.”
The launch was attended by about 25 people, including West Tamar mayor, who read a review of the book.
