We obviously are not heeding this advice, for if we were there would be no need for media, government, or anybody else for that matter, to bother Mr Eslake during his morning coco puffs.
I propose that perhaps, in the interest of a financially viable state, we merge (in a non-hostile manner) with the Bank of America Merrill Lynch and adopt Mr Eslake as our head of state.
Guided by his wisdom, our economy would flourish, children would have rosy cheeks and the public servants could once more get on with the business of making more public servants.
Perhaps we might even mint our own coin, with Mr Eslake's image on the reverse?
