Opposing wrought iron gates placed each side of the road shown open like the entrance to some magnificent estate, would leave tourists something to talk about.
Design for a best entrance would be a challenge for young and old.
A prize of some significance sponsored by local business, or the Launceston City Council could be offered as an incentive.
Further beautification of the banking from the overpass for a suitable distance would also start tourists off with a good impression.
