Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who hit a young boy who was playing on his bicycle.

Police say the incident happened about 3.20pm yesterday on Cooper Street, Glenorchy, in the state's South.
The 12-year-old boy was riding his bike along the street when a car hit him, causing him to fall.
The car did not stop and did not wait for police to arrive at the scene.
The car is described as a black Subaru Forester wagon or similar but police are calling for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or knows the vehicle or driver involved to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Acting Sergeant John Toohey of Glenorchy Police on 6230 2777.
The boy was taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital and treated for cuts. He was not admitted.
