The 17-year-old, who hails from Launceston, backed up his individual time trial victory on Wednesday with an under-19 men's criterium win on Friday.
He clocked a time of 32:21 minutes which was 16 seconds ahead of second-placed Andrew Phillips on the 22-kilometre (20 lap) course. There were 14 cyclists in the field.
McKenzie still has the 104.4km road race at Buninyong on Saturday morning.
"It was amazing, I came here focusing mainly on the time trial so to go two from two, it's looking good for Saturday," he said.
"So between my teammates and I - hopefully one of us can get the result and finish off what's been a good week so far."
The youngster described the criterium as "super tough".
"I got away with another two guys earlier on in the race in the breakaway and then tried to work with them," he said.
"I think they went a bit too hard and then I just broke away solo by myself, I think it was about 10-12 laps solo which was pretty brutal."
McKenzie, who races with ARA Pro Racing Sunshine Coast, just focused on staying calm when he was out front for about half the race.
"Because of our junior gears down the back straight, no-one can really go much faster than anyone else because they're all spinning so hard," he said.
"So I was just trying to use all my energy up the front straight on the climbing section and just push as hard as I could up there and then try and back it off down the back straight and hold them off."
Fellow Launceston cyclist Josh Duffy finished second to Graeme Frislie (47:12) by two seconds in the under-23 men's criterium.
