The teenager at the centre of a disturbance in Longford that saw a man receive a gunshot wound to his leg will remain behind bars.
Varlen Anthony Barron, 19, fronted the Launceston Magistrates Court on Monday faced with wounding and firearms charges stemming from the incident.
Mr Barron, through defence counsel Hannah Phillips, entered no plea and made no application for bail as he was remanded to appear again via video-link on December 1 for his next court date.
Tasmania Police earlier alleged a gun was fired at Green Goose Place on Saturday night, sparking a response from the Deloraine, Longford and Launceston police stations, and saw the suburban Longford street declared a crime scene.
Detective Inspector Craig Fox said the individuals involved in the disturbance were known to each other.
The firearm used in the incident had not yet been recovered as police investigations continued.
