Mr Muller was appointed as principal of the school in 2013, after moving to Launceston from Melbourne's St Leonard's College, with his latest appointment seeing him stay in the leadership role until 2025.
The announcement was made by chairperson of the College's Board of Directors Andy Gray who said the appointment would ensure its history of strong, stable leadership.
Mr Gray cited Mr Muller's leadership and management of the school during the COVID-19 pandemic and historically high enrolment numbers as some of his key achievements.
It comes after Scotch Oakburn College released its 15-year Strategic Vision, Vision 2035 to provide a holistic learning experience for all students.
"As we look to the future, the Board is clear that Andy is the right person to lead the College as it implements its Strategic Vision, SOC2035," Mr Gray said.
"I take this opportunity to acknowledge Andy on his achievements, and we look forward to his continued contribution and leadership in the years to come."
Mr Muller said he was excited to continue his work with the school, staff and board towards future goals.
"I am extremely humbled and excited to be offered the opportunity to continue to lead Scotch Oakburn College as we continue to create the future," he said.
