Sustainability and the importance of recycling, reuse and repurposing was the theme of this year's Westbury Primary School Fair held on Friday.

Stallholders showcased their upcycled and eco-friendly wares along with favourites such as a jumping castle and zorb balls.
Principal Christine Brown said teaching children about sustainability is important for the health of the environment.
"The children have been making artworks and make art out of milk cartons or other plastic containers and bottles to make plant pots and other things that give them a new life and keep them out of landfill," Mrs Brown said.
"Some of the older children have made sustainability posters with messages such as save the turtles and don't litter, which are important messages for the community.

"We can do things to minimise our impact by making good choices and those small shifts in our behaviour can make a huge difference so it's great for the kids to have that mindset that they can hold onto throughout their lives and encourage their families to get involved. "
The fair's theme of reducing waste also featured the official opening of a new recycling hub in the community.
