The event will include competitions throughout the day such as an Ironman challenge, ute competition, best mullet, and a mechanical bull.
Live music will also be at the event and include performances from Zac Weeks and YesNoMaybe.
Hagley Rural Youth president Jackie Harvey said the team was keen to bring the event back bigger and better after cancelling last year.
"When people come on the day there will be places to sign up for the competitions," she said.
"There's something for everyone hopefully."
The event will be capped at 1000 people, with a maximum of 250 people dancing at one time. Masks will not be required.
Ms Harvey said the event would be a good chance to get back out and socialise in a family-friendly setting.
"However, it goes on later into the night so kids might not want to stay for the whole time," she said.
Rural Youth members are eligible for a discount and tickets can be purchased through Launceston Tickets. Tickets are $30 for an adult and $5 for under 15-year-olds.
Rural Rumble will be held on October 16 from 3pm-midnight at Quercus Park, Carrick.
