After 21 home and away rounds, the semi-finals and preliminary finals, grand final week arrives with familiar foes Northern Hawks and Cavaliers again squaring up on their shared home at the Silverdome.
The Hawks are the reigning premiers having also won in 2018 while the Cavs claimed the 2019 title.
That was their seventh victory since the turn of the century matched only by Cripps Waratah with Arrows also claiming five wins between 2011 and '17.
While both senior and 19-and-under grand finals feature the teams who finished top two after the home and away season, the minor premiers in each division took the long road to make the big dance, while teams that finished in second progressed with the week off.
For the first time in a number of years, four different clubs will feature on grand final day representing all three regions of the state, with Devon and Cripps vying for the 19&U title.
Having won all matches against other teams, the two Northern powerhouse clubs will meet for the fifth time this season.
Hawks won comfortably, 69-48, in round five in St Helens before the teams drew 53-all in round 10.
Hawks won a thriller 56-53 in round 19 but the Cavs exacted revenge by finally ending a two-year unbeaten run with a 60-55 semi-final victory.
Hawks then defeated Cripps in the prelim, 55-45, to progress.
