St Cecilia will host A Winter's Celebration showcasing some of Launceston's finest solo violinists, including Georgia Hillier performing a virtuosic arrangement of Brahm's Hungarian Dance No. 5.
A big drawcard for the event is violinists Michael Stocks, Stephen Henty, Kimberley Brown and Alan Taylor coming together to perform Vivaldi's Concerto for 4 violins.
Stocks, also concert coordinator and conductor, said the group wanted to play something a bit different.

"It could well be the first time [Concerto for 4 violins] has been played in Tasmania," he said.
Stocks said the concert would include something for everyone.
The concert will be held on June 19 at the City Baptist Church, Frederick Street. There will be two sessions - 2pm and 5pm.
Tickets are available from Barratts Music, Launceston. Adults are $20, students and children are $10, and a family is $50.
